We are proud to announce the newest member of our PNG Overlay Collections! The Wolves Collection! This set is going to be filled with an amazing assortment of REAL fury wolves! Coming out TOMORROW October 3rd!
Cassidy and I have been long awaiting to do this collection since we started making PNG's. We always go on some awesome adventures to capture animals and these wolves were no exception. The day we went to photograph the white wolves it was supposed to rain, but of course we set out to to capture them anyway (told you we were excited)! The wolf exhibit when first arriving had no signs of any animals. There was a bucket of hot dogs and raw meat, provided by the animal sanctuary, and we took a handful and threw it in the exhibit. All of a sudden some white wolves emerged from behind the trees. They were so excited about the hot dogs that they wouldn't stop SMILING! Which was excellent, unless of course you want some ominous looking wolves! (Which of course we did). Shortly after feeding and taking great pictures of the wolves it started to POUR! Not only did it drench us but it started to thunder and lighting! We started to run for cover and as we were running, a loud crack of lighting and roar of thunder made me unknowingly throw my phone! We finally made it to some cover and noticed I was missing my phone so we went back and found it in a PUDDLE! Just my luck right? Thankfully it wasn't my camera, and my phone survived! What a crazy trip THAT was!
The grey wolves in the collection we had to travel nearly 2 hours to go see! These wolves were out in the backwoods somewhere. It was called a zoo, but it was more like a heavily wooded farm with exotic animals on it. That day was only 70 degrees but Cassidy and I were so HOT! Wisconsin weather is so strange. upon arriving to the wolf exhibit, one of the wolves actually was missing a leg, he was so cute prancing around and digging a hole to sit in! The wolves were very disinterested in us. So Cassidy had an idea to get their attention. She was swinging around a bucket of grain feed (she insisted on having for this "zoo" trip) and making a lot of noise to get the rest of the pack's attention! She ran back and forth hootin and hollerin and after several rounds of them following her she turns, looks at me, throws her hands up, and says "I AM THE PACK LEADER!" After that we used this technique for the other animals. We got some amazing shots and some great laughs that day!
We are over the moon excited to see what magic is created with these fury guys! With that being said, we want to give $10 OFF MONDAY, October 3rd to SUNDAY October 9th for our Wolves Collection. Use coupon code: DARETOWOLF
Have great week!
